Disliked{image} Here's the type of entry Karun was talking about over the weekend. The entry I took was neither a channel cross nor a channel failure but I was trading the reversion to the SMA. These trades are fine but, I repeat for the benefit of new traders, channel crosses and channel failures are the most basic entry types.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Laura Regarding this entry, the down trend line seems to be broken (at least on the visible chart), giving the possibility of further upward movement. I'd understand your entry better if you had waited for the retracement 'trend' line to be broken - is it just on the strength of a low RSI at the time of trade and possibly bouncing from resistance that you would have taken this entry?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Kevin, Is this along the lines of what you are talking about ? OOPs : I left out the 900 level. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Wow, that's a blast from the past You're absolutely right. If I was analysing that entry for anyone else, I'd have said they were taking too big a chance in not waiting for the retracement line to be broken. Although I can't be certain after so long, I was probably demonstrating that more aggressive types of entries were possible.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey T, Heres some charts from yesterdays SPX500 action Asia UK and NY... 1 minute charts of all and a 5m.. These are the charts I trade indices, live, in entirety... The NY box is slightly different than the 12 bar 15m Asia/UK box.. Its an 18 bar 5M box...very specific to US indices. Dont want to get off track the Roadmap theme here but just saying up front in case anyone notices and asks why (for currencies metals etc in NY I use 12 bar 15m box) Have a look and hopefully that answers your question 11 pm here in Vancouver...Ignored
