Just a short post and follow up chart to Whitesta's...The question from Jaddy re the other candle.. Valid entry trading the wick. You never know for sure if the market will reverse off of one wick or not...So getting an entry on the wick with a tightish stop or waiting for a confirmation candle to follow..Choices we all have. The second entry that Whitesta took was a higher probability trade in my opinion. Note how price travels back to the Equity candles open..same in US session. Cheers Blue {image}

Or the 1 or 15 etc... Or in other words it a reference to the candle open at that specific time

Another trade similar to yesterdays. PFH, RN nearby, Weekly and monthly opens rejected. Just some confirmations. A little late entry cos i was waiting to see how price would react to the RN (162). It was smashed with momentum. Again profit could have been at daily open but i took it at previous week low.

Just catching up with the thread, all is quiet so all must be well…

I see over on the scam thread we had a mention.

Apparently Rudy can’t load up some links because of ‘greedy arseholes’ on Flying Dutchman thread

Quite what that has to do with us is beyond me however the first 50 can obtain the links by applying privately

Well there you have it folks from one of the very best....Dont be fooled by thinking you need a high win rate to be HIGHLY profitable.
You simply dont. Its a fallacy that so many chase.

Why go into 50-60-70-80% DD... Thats a FOOLS way of trading and the market ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS TILTS those traders.
As my signature says the Best Loser Wins....and BTW you can pu a copy of "Best Loser Wins" on Amazon available Aug 16.. I highly recommend it
to anyone who is serious about levelling up.

This is a mind game folks.. Its You vs You.... not You vs Market.

Being good at losing is the only reason im still trading today. I wasnt always like that. I would add to losers and end up blowing many accounts. Took me years and years to become good at losing. Now i dont give it a second thought. If i get hit i get hit and i wait for my next trade, Simple as that really. I always ask myself first how much do i want to risk on this trade, if im not happy with it but still confident in my analysis i will go in with a smaller position than usual so i can add if it goes against me then i add the rest of the position but still only risk the initial amount. Thats all you can do. its a game of probabilities and if you mange the risk then you will come out on top. Probably the next thing im good at is sitting on my hqnds. if i dont see a trade and it goes without me i dont chase it, it wasnt my trade. Example of missing a trade was USDCAD today. was waiting on it since last week for longs, i had to go out this morning and when i got back it had already ran 71pips. i knew it had way more to go and it did another 70pips or so. I wasnt prepared to chase it then, i know i will get the next move anyway. Best Loser who has Patience will win

Hi Bluesteele,

Hope you r doing fine. Firstly thanks for ur charts and tips on the thread. Would like you to take a look at the chart i am posting to see why this one may not have worked. It had some confluence and looked good for a sell trade. I didn't trade it and only reason i could come to was that the daily and weekly candle was moving up. I have put some points on the chart as to why i thought this was going to work. Any input would be appreciated.

yes - Toms new book is out but it is psychology based not a treatise on trading methods, just so that people are aware.
His videos and site are worth perusal imho.
