As posted earlier GU spiked to complete its shoulder pattern. High probability it can make new highs because don't forget GBP interest news tomorrow. They will take it to a new high to dump it post GBP news. 1.2245 On radar.

London opened, price is currently below the Daily pivot for today (1.22183 - 1.21815), bias will be bearish unless candle closed above Daily pivot, then SL will be lower end of pivot (1.21815).

Possible short entries for the day:

1. Rejected off Daily pivot and closed below lower end of pivot (1.21815), SL upper end of pivot (1.22183).
2. Closed below 1.21526, SL 1.21881

Chart = M15.
Suggested TP 1.5x of your SL.

remember, hourly is bullish, 4hr bearish.

Reuters market analist Martin Miller

  1. Spot failed ahead of 1.2320 Fibo, 61.8% of 1.2666-1.1761 (June-July) drop
  2. Thick daily cloud, that now spans the 1.2266-1.2512 region, inhibit bulls
  3. Though those that are bearish should be mindful, 14-day momentum is positive
  4. A daily close above the 1.2320 Fibo level needed to accelerate gains
  5. That would unmask the daily cloud top for an eventual retest

Price reached upper key level 1.22012 and seemed to reject it, if we have a close below daily pivot, this will be an extra strong signal for a Short.

On the other hand, judging the ongoing overall uptrend, wouldn't surprise me if we end up breaking and closed above pivot, then we can go long and SL below lower end of pivot.

All depend on how the market moves, we take what market gives us, not the other way round.

I could be wrong but today could be quite ranging with a slight bearish trend. This could be a liquidity grab for BoE tomorrow. I think regardless of being priced in the spike will be good tomorrow and then start to drop down after
