...this upcoming U.s Cpi is a difficult one to call as this time particularly it will depend on the core Cpi, and some of the component parts that make it up, as to what the market reaction is, not just the headline #. Could see a mixed reaction on the knee-jerk particularly/on the other side of it, depending on the data, and maybe despite the headline #. Who knows? Anything can happen.

Nervousness ahead of the US CPI number today. One major European bank put out its estimate as 9% vs the street consensus of 8.8%. Fed futures now showing an 11.8% chance of a 100 bps rate hike by the Fed on Jul 27th and 88.2% for a 75 bps hike.
