There is nothing supporting a move to the upside.
The only possible way for a move up atm is large short positions taking profits or large size exchanges from USD to GBP.
In that case, you'll see price bouncing from a point and creating a temporary stop on the move creating a temporary low.

To change this scenario we need a complete reversal in overall conditions so meaning inflation, interest rates, jobs data, economic data, war.

Everything around is saying: recession is possible.

this simple chart contains

  1. RSI on m5, m15, m30, h1, h4, D, W, MN
  2. sma 20, 50, 100, 200
  3. % change from week open

and yet, like an idiot i closed my winning short for just +102 pips

On the 4h I can’t see any move up for the pair at all. Unless there data that gives it a kick start which from a Uk perspective there isn’t much today
