yeah we are at the summer graveyard shift quite possibly a few hundred range it should pick up after the recess is over. Potential a general election later this year in the Uk which will undoubtedly shake the market and potentially let the pound drop for a bit. Remember though it was the last Labour government that had GU around 1.8-2

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is in a bullish correction after a bearish drive to the 1.20780/1.19590 horizontal support zone (green) seen on the weekly time frame. Price action printed an indecision candlestick in the zone on Friday. However, the technical structure and order flow favour bears more than bulls, and we may see further bearish drive for market control. Therefore, any bullish move would be limited.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Spread is high this hour.

Last general election was held Dec, 2019, so I think is every 5 years, 2024/2025.

But Scottish referendum suppose to happen this month, but BJ voided, so it was moved be on 19 Oct 2023. This will be an interesting event. At the moment around 35% would vote for independence, but as we know actuals unpredictable.

What will a Scottish independence do for them? They already have their own parliament witb lots of powers. Maybe it's just politics for people like Sturgeon.

The United Kingdom, made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

If Scotland will vote to leave, they later join EU (another referendum) or become independent country. If they do vote out, UK looses its member and strenght.
