Johnson cant survive this the only question is whether he'll go tonight or tomorrow. It's a coordinated move by Sunak and Javid, and more, as yet to show their hand. Truss is professing loyalty whilst positioning for the leadership contest as the continuity Johnson without being Johnson candidate, much like De Santis/Trump thing in U.s. She may as well as the new pm if not her won't keep her as foreign sec anyway.

from a GU perspective I think Scalia mentioned this could be good for the pound as unlike the US last year losing BoJo won’t hurt the country so markets will be cautiously happy. Usually when BoJo speaks the markets take a tumble
