The dxy is a basket of currencies each making up a % of dxy -vs- $ so there is not always a direct +'ve or -'ve corrrelation, particularly if there is opposing fundie themes/data affecting one or more currencies in that basket. It's easy to place too much emphasis on the dxy correlation re the particular $ cross (s) you are trading.

yeah, turns out it was a bunch of Impending rate decisions that i missed, eur, gbp, usd, cad, nzd... aud just announced rate decision

I've been trading profitably for over 2 years now, I get the randomness in the market, but 1 is an accident 2 is a coincidence 3 is a pattern and this is all the way from NZD/CAD to EUR/GBP, just want to know why everything moved the same way and I'm tired of the manipulation talk

added a long at 12040 will tp around 121

Price dangerously looking towards 1.1926 between today or tomorrow as far as 1.2150 holds... I will load big buy once 1.1933 breaks down. I wait on the sideline at the moment.
