I think they were disabled at some point, all good now.

Your broker doesn't offer a decent amount of history and you already have everything offered (in this case about 2000 bars). This is typical behavior of bucketshop brokers and one of mutiple ways to make it impossible/very hard for you gaining money with trading. You should NOT send real money to such a broker, it's most probably gone. The solution is to change to a honest broker.

Last night build 1354 arrived, and officially builds older than 1347 are no longer supported. However some brokers disable this lock, e.g. IC Markets still supports all builds back to 1310.

Unless you are a forex trader, Quantower is a handsdown winner. Actually, Quantower is a rising star among futures traders. Also, U.S. gov may start to feel uncomfortable with this Russian company now as it's deeply involved with western financial system. Who know if this Russian company have made some backdoors in their software? The only reason I still use this ancient software is old indictors made by Mladen and Mrtools. Otherwise, I will ditch it without hesitation. To be honest, as I am almost done with day trading, I expect I won't use it from next year.

I can tell you McAfee Virus Scan (on-access scan feature) does not let MT5 run. I have to disable this in my antivirus program for MT5 to work. Having said that, my EAs are already coded in MT4 and MT5 so I won't be switching to any platform. It would be a nightmare at this point to start from ground zero. If a backdoor does exist, it's fine with me. I run MetaTrader in a self-contained virtual machine on my MacBook.
