Seems, you prefer another platform. It's ok, but I don't understand your latin quote. If you are thinking, any software has to be free, ok again. But each company doing business has to get revenue. If you're playing only, ok once more. If you're using real money, you usually have some demands for little sensitive running software.

You're paying nothing to MQ directly - you are paying some cost with your broker. Eliminating those, who have a bad business model like requotes, large spread, bad executions, spikes and other 'gimmicks', you see on the screen, what you'll get. You don't have to love them, if your results are ok and if you don't forget which 'company' you're using. Last sentence you may adapt for Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook .......

Changes since MT4 +b600 are not big. They did for make simpler the conversion. Really problem are tools coded with style pre b600 builds. Evidently is not out of box but at this moment is not difficult even run same code in both platforms while you dont use specific MT5 stuff

Anyway I understand trader is not still interesting in change since brokers many times are not offering good conditions in MT5 accounts

MT4 and MT5 can coexist at MetaQuotes but their actual clients are the brokers. However, we should still give our feedback to the brokers so that they know we want both products to coexist. As they say, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease."

I wouldn't rely on it. Depending on changes involved the 'update' may do more than just download a new .exe
FYI, Mine have upgraded to version 1350 this morning which is out of step with the above post from emmzett...

My post wasn't "out of step". Build 1349 was released on the 11th of October. Build 1350 was released about 20h after my post on the evening of the 14th of October. And no, no update ever in the last 15 years did more than updating just the .exe. That's because the .exe file contains a full complete setup of the whole installation, including directories, sound files, MQL source files, example history etc.
