You still need to be aware of news though. It's best to trade after news has released and price has settled again.
That way you aren't stunned by spikes, stophunts, and chasing a rapidly moving price.
Aim of the game is to make money securely. Not play risky games of greed simply because price moved 100 pips without you

Sometimes a good result can send an currency plunging lower if people were expecting an even better result.
A bad result can send an currency higher if the bulk of traders thought it would be worse.
(these two expectation will be demonstrate during up coming US GDP data release later)

Many day traders get seduced into thinking they can predict how an currency will move, based on what they think the fundamentals will reveal and/or how the market will react to them.

It's best to just leave fundamentals out of day trading if you can't predict the outcome of the news with good probability and good risk/reward ratio.

Sometimes the excuse is that the expected news result was "priced in".
But in all cases, the moves occur because of existing orders needing to be picked up and/or stopped out on the order book.
Once the move is done, we can then figure out what the market looks like.

The UK will cut off gas supplies to Europe

After Brexit, the United Kingdom has a prudent position to protect itself.

Considering UK get 50% of their food from EU countries.
Just imagine if EU cut food supply to UK during winter.


On the flip side, by abandoning any gas sharing arrangements, UK by winter months need to import gas from Europe thru them.

So cutting them would come to hurt themselves........

Complicated....

Start collect fire wood or move to Malaysia, summer whole year 25-30 Celsius.
