It was a good long on the lower t/f's - ie good pot (potential) support testing deep into it, and reg bull div 1min - 1hr ...5min also had an exp tri there. I just didn't hold it for a cricket score, being anti-trend.

Will have to see whether this pot supp zone down to 2155 current yrly lo and indeed down to 2074 gets busted thru to the downside on back of more data/central bank stuff later this week.

martinez1, unless you trade the range in the direction of the trend, so you still go with the trend...

Yes, you are right with timeframe but let me ask you something, watching this market since on Friday what would be the best and easiest way/ direction to go knowing that your a day trader?

When you look at the market as a day trader or swing trader or scalper what do you see???

Let me say this for those who cares to read, see nothing holds the train/trend down if it's strong enough, no support, no resistant, no pin bar, no engulfing etc.
instead just use this and ride with the trend until it ends, yes when it ends it might take a little from you that won't matter in the long run.

STOP MAKING THESE THINGS COMPLICATED. I WON'T TELL YOU TO BUY HERE OR THERE BUT THIS WORDS OF WISDOM WILL HAD MORE PROFIT TO YOU THAN EVER.

i know you werent asking me but your question appeared gininuine . and were aall here to help each other right. i greatly reccommend checking out Al brooks material, books youtube etc, helped me alot in this regard. to elaborate a bit on the subject myself this the key to this whole thing from s daytrading/ scalping perspective. is bias. after knowing what it is the process for entering successful trades is rather simple, ya know, buy low sell high. i remember being so so frustraded with being confused at such a simple concept. ive come to understanstand that certin times of day are very important to the market. after knowing what those times are one can match his or her understanding of bias with the highs and lows presented in those important "times" to generate really consistent winning entries

in last week market there was buyers and seller


the selllers where kinda lucky that liquidity of tuesday could have hit there sl all the way to 1.2750-1.28


if you read the trend very well i was expecting 1.2400 and 1.2350 let be honest we dont know where the price may go and nobody saw this heavy drop in just few days of June, very weird.

taking trade in trend continuation is different from picking in a range anyone can get hit or survive...

...to some extent, it's traders' technical training [whether formal or just thru watching charts,] that gets them into trouble going anti-trend against a strong trend. In the sense that after an impulse wave we are expecting a corrective wave, (ie a pullback,) It is also because if you are not currently in the market with a trend trade there is a tendency to think the next trading opportunity is the pullback - ie maybe frustration thru not having a trade on plays a part. Also not recognizing that certain fundie triggers are important and affect market sentiment/ are game changers. Finally, I guess thinking that what goes up or down must come down or up respectively. Tech indy's don't help either if you put all your faith in them, 'oversold' in this downtrend eg is because it's strongly trending, not necessarily a buy signal. Regular Div is potentially more reliable against a strong trend, but that has it's limitations and should be used wisely if going anti-trend @ potentially strong support.

Look around you this laws are every where, Even in my country we have two most powerful political parties. APC and PDP, APC is the ruling party, will it be wise to go against or fight the ruling party at the federal level when they have the military power, judges etc, if you are a member of PDP ??

Your chances of wining them in a battle is nearly impossible but in the state level you might have PDP as the power house because you belong there things will be easier for you in the state level.
