The question is when not if (as it is for all of us.) £ will sell-off on the knee-jerk react because a long period of stability has come to an end...but it likely won't be a long-term effect. If it happens to be in a downtrend at the time it will just add to it, but the effect of it itself likely won't be long lasting, just like a data release really, unless of course 'the market' deems that 'this data' is indeed a game changer.
