A much more interesting graph than the Gbpusd is usdchf. Usdchf remains in a downtrend

Remember that usd getting weaker is identified as a relative comparison. So just because the dollar weakens against other currencies, if GBP is also weakening, then GBPUSD stays relatively flat.
