Not only can OANDA leverage no longer be modified on your subaccounts as per their new leverage rules, but API trading with OANDA now fixes all instruments with a default leverage over 33x to 33x. What in the world is going on?

Yes, IOS Client is spakked as well as Java Desktop client on windows. Really annoyed, with FOMC coming up shortly. Hope they fix it.

Yep. Concerned since this has happened a couple of times before in just the last month or so and they used to be one of the most rock solid brokers.
Never underestimate the powers of the Force.

And now all phone lines are busy, and they won't answer.

And on FOMC day.

OANDA is back to their old tricks of shutting out traders just when they need access to the OANDA application the most.

Which with no answers leads to people to start asking questions about things such as liquidity and funding concerns at OANDA especially with the ongoing leverage changes...

Similar experience as well. Oanda, the power is in the hands of your clients. If this is how you treat them, you will lose even more clients. Think twice about the outage.

Oanda has been complete garbage for the past week or so with multiple outages, long lag times and other technical issues. Add me to the list of people currently unable to log on to their account. Right before FOMC is a really bad time to have this issue. They need to get garbage fixed asap.

And just as soon as I posted, it's back up and running. Hopefully it stays up and they are able get these issues resolved. Because too much more of this and I might need to start looking elsewhere for brokers.

Patience. Even company of big sizes made mistakes, and as long as they had workarounds to prevent mistakes of these kind to occur in the future, I'll regard them as a Tier A broker to trade with. Otherwise, it'll be a Tier B ratings for them. No sane brokers in these time and age would dare their clients to file action group law suits, it's costly and the impact could spiral out of control for their reputation in the long term. I'm grateful that we had these conversations to held the brokers accountable for what they did wrong. Your voice matters, use it wisely.

For now, we don't plan to include NinjaTrader in our 3rd party list of products. But please keep an eye out as we are constantly improving our services. I've sent this comment to our team so they can take it into consideration in the future.

Yes, I understand. I have been with Oanda for a very long time. Occasionally they have system issues, but they are typically able to get them resolved fairly quickly. And so I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt in most cases. However, these most recent issues had been occurring for over a week now (long lag times, constant system crashes, problems loading charts, unable to log on, ect.), hence I decided to express my concerns. I'll be honest, another reason I mentioned this is that I would like to find a broker that allows trading of gold/silver/crypto in addition to currencies. But I will say that ever since the issue yesterday, the system had been running great, as good as ever, actually. So hopefully that continues..

Anyone having trouble on the web trading platform saving preferences? Ever since last Wednesday when it seemed all of Oanda shut down it went back to default settings on the web platform and doesn't save any changes. I have cookies turned on and accepted so I don't think it is on my end. Kind of annoying.

Once in a while the profile settings will revert the default on some of the options. From what I see it's when the platform isn't properly shutt down or during a new rollout. Not all the settings but some of the chart and main platform color will go through this in a blue moon.

Still the best broker for US IMO
