GbpUsd has not had a 4 hourly close above 1.30500 in the last 6 candles to give a glimmer of hope to bulls. If so I will contemplate buying.

We have to be patient here Folks. As I mentioned here previously. We are at levels that price could swing. It is never easy as price could move down to make new lows and highs before a direction is established.

...quick look at charts to update....still bearish then after the pullback, ....testing the round number 3000 and Dly S1 right now.

Other than calculated pivots (Wkly S1 circa 2963,) Wkly S2 circa 2888, and Mthly S3 circa 2875, the later two of which fall in that prev dly/wkly sw lo zone down to 2854, (tThis zone starts circa 2908 and there are 2 fibs of longer-term up moves circa 2902 as shown onchart below,) the Wkly is about the only chart that is instructive re potential supp/rbs at the moment below the current dly/wkly/mthly/yrly lo. This prev sw lo zone = prev supp = pot supp extending down to 2854 is from November 2020. 1hr/4hr/dly/wkly downtrends remain intact.

So we know what the fundies are, we know what the chart conditions are on the 'significant' t/f's, starting @ 1hr, and we know what the potential supp is. Let's see what happens in the overnight Asian session and keep an eye on any fundie developments re Ukraine etc before London session starts tomorrow.

We hitted 1.3000 in direct close candle daily. Bear taken lead. Asian scalp buy to max 1.30500 then sold again to 1.29500
