You and nobody knows what the finale death rate will be. First it is, a virus that mutates. Nobody knows what the next one holds. Second just like chicken pox causing shingles/ You dont know what this virus will do down the line. Third even if you have no symptoms now after having it. There may be long damage term to your body. You dont know this and neither do I, or the experts. One thing I do know is a little math, You dont kill any virus by producing more of it. If possible you stop it from mutating. Because the next mutation may kill kids, and young people. Hopefully all will turn out well. When this virus was new nobody knew any answers. So morons played Russian roulette with everyone's life.

Yup. Disease burden is an ever changing value for any diseases including COVID. The "1 in 600" is the current statistics. In the first month of the pandemic, the death rate of COVID was as high as 40%, simply because it took much shorter time for a case to end up "death" then "recovered", now is trending towards 1-2%. The statistics will become more and more "stable" as dominator is ever increasing.

I agree with you on the potential harm of COVID in the future. I see many people here undermine the danger of COVID (Oh it is flu; Omicron does not kill... blah blah)

Flu virus has been around for centuries. But from time to time we see new variants that are more severe, H1N1, Swine Flu, H5N1, etc.
Same for Coronavirus. It is also not a new virus. SARS in 2004 was a good example that a variant can emerge as a deadly epidemic. Now SARS-CoV2 i.e. COVID.

Of course none want it to happen, but it is not surprising if a future CoV strain is as contagious as Omicron but as deadly as Delta or the SARS. The world's failure in eradicating the SARS-CoV2 strain is a potential risk for the future.

But that has to thank those idiots who defy any common sense in prevention of any disease.

EURUSD gaped down as it expected at the weeknd, now all eyes and ears are in the talks with Ukraine and Russia, (I hope they make out something good) so in good news we may see a bounce at around the highs and 100 hourly ma.
Bad news from the other could break 1.1100 and open the road for more downside around 1.1000.

checking datas , only over 31+% confirmed affected , reality may 5-10 times high as silent or mild , that is all perhaps affected average repeatedly , death 1 per 666 population .so living with corona without much fear but sorry for all who lost due real death ( should be a minimum % ) , or iatrogenic or forced kill due medical exhaustion or so . May Allah bless all. most morbidities and mortalities to continue count unlimited due long covid like chronic bronchitis , chest fibrosis and other multisystem affections .

I haven't checked in for years now.
There are other forums I could have picked up, but this is the one I started with 14 years ago, so it holds some sentiment..
I was expecting to see the same expertise as it used to be back then, now I see ppl arguing about things outside FOREX markets in a purely FOREX threads.
Sadly all that thing around Covid has changed ppl negatively.
Ukraine's battle with Russia is also dimming many ppls minds and affecting emotions making them release statements on rumours, without actually double-checking data.
I personally learnt to not fully trust news agencies and mass media, they all serve you data the way they want us to see it.
History taught me to not trust either sides of the 2 - Russia-USA.
I have a seconds thought about COVID and current military actions in Ukraine - both will cause huge economic damage to middle-class and ppl living on the edge of poverty.
Those military actions could have happened anytime before the moment they actually happened.
COVID started losing ground as world's population got tired of all idiotic measures and uncertainty of the governments and international institutions, so now Ukraine-Russia military combat comes into play to continue the economic crisis...I know hundreds of ppls lost their job because of the COVID measures, got mentally ill, went nuts, lost their small businesses, country did not help those ppl and so on and so on.
I simply do not trust anyone, clearly this is what was desired by many, this was planned, this was designed.
Those who relate Putin to Hitler obviously want to increase the current tension and things to become even more aggressive.
Those who repeat over and over that Putin is preparing for use of nuclear weapon is also willing to increase the tension and see more aggressive actions from all sides.

Finally forex related. EU should be going up as it already exhausted the downside, I know may want it to go down to lower levels, but this means more instability and more economic disasters.

just imagine if we listened to these morons with Ebola (fatality rate 25/90%). Or the next disease. If the next airborne one is a testicle eating virus. That women can transfer, but it dont affect women. The same guys would be requiring women to be in a hazmat suit. That's just the hypocrisy. these are the smaller S/R.. Even so A year and a quarter.. Some others are larger i will post. It can freely move through these. but as a month closes and better a quarter closes. The side of closer should help that direction. I will post some that may be more relevant in a few mins 1208 may be a big one.

each candle represents 1 year. the red tl going up was breached a few years ago. pa has stayed below on a bullish path still. pa formed a newer uptrend (yellow tl) with a lower trajectory. That tl is close to be being tested. Roughly somewhere in the 1.095 area. I trust numbers more than the tl. A tl is actually a averaged move. Its an average between one point to another in that same timeframe. A tl is a good tool similar to a ma. Because it is a ma. Often it works to show a future area that may be an s/r.
The chart shows that past few years the trend is lower. That trajectory looks to test 1.095 area. Before it can do that it has to pass supports like 1208 1123 1088 etc.

this chart shows it as 1210.. But others as 1208. I think this is part of what's holding up a drop. I have a dynamic support at 1164. Another fib at 1088. This is a slug fest. The oil tax that has destroyed the usd since 1971. Is weighing less on the usd since 2009. That same pressure relief that helps the usd , hurts the ez more. Basically no matter what. As long as the /ez depends more on foreign energy that cost more. Compared to North American energy. The euro will need to depreciate to compete. /The process may take another decade plus. The euro is no longer at 1.6, The trajectory is down. Its near testing another place that may be another leg down. That 2008 drop from the high was 23%. That high to the 2016 low is 35%. As long as energy cost more in the EZ. Its harder for Europe to compete with North America. The process is unlikely to be a fast one. The Fed will fend off A 25k BMW. But maybe not so much if the BMW is produced in the U.S. That will likely happen (BMW expands in N.A.). BMW etc, will build where it's cheaper to build. The most expensive product to build a car. Is the energy used to build it. Any heavy industrial equipment built, has a high energy use. It take a lot of energy for steel and aluminum. production.

Yeah he sounds like the kind of person who, if faced with needing life saving surgery, would opt to be treated by someone who watched YouTube videos or read a few articles on fake news websites. They’re more credible and trustworthy than an actual surgeon who’s had extensive training and decades of experience in the field, because the latter are all a part of “they”. Yes, the infamous “they”.

These people are sick and misinformation has become a terrible disease that affects all of us. Not just America anymore. We all know someone in our friend circle who’s succumbed to this bullshit way of thinking. Most people are sadly beyond saving.
