EU retraced to where i have bought it, no significant profits or losses on EU but EG shorts are doing really good. It's important to hedge.
Markets look confused. One day the risk is on EU goes up and the other day risk switches off and EU goes down.
It's really hard to believe both Western and Russian sources. All look fishy right now. So we better highlight the lines that makes sense from both sources.
As i always say, i expect no war. At least not a full scale one. Because Russia has a lot to lose and so little to win from war, while the US actually have a lot to win from it. I dont think Russia will act that dumb to walk into the trap.
NATO already has bases around Russia, Ukraine is a bit luxury. Russia is very concerned about being encircled by NATO though. So Russia can't afford Ukraine joining the NATO. That's vital. So i think US should step back a little bit. Ukraine won't get pro-russian again anyways. Demographics have changed a lot since 2014. Ukraine will stay pro-western even if it doesn't get to join the NATO.
What's done is done. Ukraine should accept the fact that Donbass and Crimea are gone. People living there are also pro-russian as well. You can't fight with a superpower without facing some consequences.
So Ukraine must remain realistic. US also should give them some serious weapons like Patriots and F-35s to ensure Russia that if it decides to invade Ukraine they must suffer severe casualties. Actually help Ukraine build something like a Maginot Line but don't invite Ukraine to NATO so it will be a win-win for both parties
Make them an offer they can't refuse. Dang i should be the one ruling the world
