I think we might have seen the end of Wave 1(B) in the weekly. The Ave Week Range has been met by over 30pips and we still have tomorrow.
If this is the case, Wave 2(B) could start tomorrow and price may go down around 1.3460 to start Wave 3(B) and possibly finish at 1.3833.
Time will tell by next week.

{quote} I live here as an American and it's not as easy/great as you think. 1) Very expensive....you need to make at least 80kchf just to be "comfortable" 2) You buy your own health insurance 3) Owning a car is a luxury in many cases here so the native Swiss are comfortable with trains; forget taxis 4) Language can be an issue if you want to integrate although there are many foreigners coming and going all the time 5) Housing is not that cheap. In the past 10 years, house prices have exploded here. A ordinary apartment can send your back 2kchf/month...

Interesting. Apartment cost is similar to London, renting here is from £1,200 - £2,500/month. To buy a house is difficult for the first time buyers, much higher income is required. House prices are high. Banks will loan you 4 times your salary, while house price in London's least popular areas are from £500K and hard to find decent one. This is London, where every square meter is valued.

Swiss salaries are high and that compensates towards the cost of living.
In London younger persons salary approx from £20,000/month before tax;
Higher earners from 50K (managers job), £80K (company director). On 40K - 50K one can live comfortably .
Lowest income tax is 20% on low income (£12,550 a year is tax free).
You forgot to mention good taste of Swiss chocolate and fondue

Language would not be an issue. I speak German only need to refresh.
Have you learned french or german?

All the best.

I am from Hong Kong and planning to move to Taiwan. Now in Singapore for a long vacation because of good business last 2 years.

Not sure if you plan to work in the new place. If not I would recommend against Singapore. Housing is an challenge for foreigners. High living cost, and not too much leisure activities (esp nature things). Just did the hidden “Jurong rail” today, its like the one of the only 2or3 rural hiking trails in the country!

HK is almost as expensive as living in SG but with more things to do. Taiwan is my plan because of cheap living, especially when I will be able to keep my job in HK. And even more entertainment

Asia is a good place to live and visit, really good food in every countries

I can get by with French but no German (although my wife is Swiss German).
That basic apartment is about 70-80 sq/m in size (approx. 1bdrm).
Taxes is a little lower here but you do pay a virtual income tax if you own your house.
Tax on investments (forex, stocks, etc) may not apply depending on declaration (number of trades per month/year).
Lastly, I had to sadly quit chocolates/sugar when I passed 40 but an occasional fondue is always welcome.
I actually see more and more Germans/French/Italians/Portuguese trying to move in but its every difficult. There were a lot of Brits/Americans before due to the multinationals....slowly going back as the 10year tax advantages for these companies have slowly expired.

Hi Tommy,

For some reason I thought you are from Italy (your profile name tells me).

We do need a lot of nature and Singapore sounds more suitable for business.
Great food and good living cost in Taiwan. I hope all goes to plan for you.

Britain certainly got some of the most beautiful scenery. Every hiker will have their favourite hiking trails in the UK.

You must visit UK one day. Here is some hiking trail info:
