For those that pay attention to smaller TFs such as M15/M30, did you notice how M15 was building a POTENTIAL sell continuation? Did you take it? I did not: By the time I had an M15 sell condition confirmed, the M30 turned up. How likely is it that a sell on M15 is going to go very far if M30 is heading the opposite direction?

And if this up swing can go high enough to turn up H1, then this little progression of of downtrends is in danger of being wiped out and we return to the up trend.

Unless you can play both sides like the institutions do (hedge trading), it's very hard to make it in this business. Of course, this means you have to have a large account to handle the drawdown, and you can't be restricted by unfair trading rules such as FIFO.

FIFO is a uniquely American phenomenon. I remember I was hanging around here in 2009/2010 when it was first introduced, and people were fuming about it, and about hedging being disallowed.

One way around the hedging problem it is to run two accounts. One for going long, one for going short.

You did it right, 61.80 is a good zone for planned reversal.
I missed to spot monthly breakout last month, should have got out earlier.
Still unclear where we go next as both currencies are fighting.
Rates tomorrow will be a bummer.
