Of course you need to know which TF. That is why you look at multiple TFs so you can see with your own eyes. If you are using MT4, look for yourself at GBPUSD charts with "Line charts" option selected. Look at a larger TF and how the line looks. Now look at smaller TFs and look how the line looks in RELATION to the larger TF. You will see with your own eyes the same kind of relationships as I showed on the image. Mine has the advantage that I have smoothed the lines and moved them all onto a single plot to more easily see the relationship.

GU is presenting profitable opportunities. We all know it's looking for 3555. So until then, any time it takes a dip, buy is it.

From the chart, notice that since 800 hours, PA has remained above M15 Average

Sure, you can do it that way, but it is better to exercise caution because you do not know if the up swing is a mere rally or another up continuation until it progresses far enough to show you.
