Yeah, I have started to develop an interest in fundies, but I play charts first.

I cut my losses when it happens. If I hold onto draw down after the chart gives me a clear signal I was wrong, it makes it too easy to start trying to bend the charts to my will. We can start ignoring clear analysis, and start focussing on obscure stuff to try and feel more comfortable with our losing trade floating too much in drawdown.

Not something I ever want to do again.

In the second half of last year when the Fed started talking about future Tapering and rate hikes, I didn't believe them. I thought it was a market trap the way it was with the great media flood of imminent taper repeated ad nausium in 2013.

But whether they hikes rates or not, Powells words have been pushing the $ higher ever since June and it pretty much blew my small account (insert here: poor money management also ).

Gann split apart with is son. Sons can beat up parents, very comun. Very unlikely the other way round. Time will tell

I was reading up on Gann. There are a lot of free instructional video's and content on the net and others you need to pay for.

Personally, I feel if someone makes a method work for them, then well done. I rarely have a go at someone's designed approach (or system).

But when I read figures from people in here such as "98% accuracy", I see a Red Flag and just think they are fooling themselves.

"Gann's method wasn't wrong, I just miscalculated" is something I have seen in here and elsewhere.

Classic confirmation bias.

Last time FOMC everyone was long, at this point by the way. Me baba the only one short and the winner was gann. I am long 13380 but big % leaned towards a decline which i will sustain. If not, i will be ok anyways

You are weren't the only one that is short. Navin, Isabella and Jolita were short too if i am not mistaken and they probably made good amount of pips last week. Congrats to them

Also, GU's long term direction will remain long. If BoE don't make a dovish surprise.
