Sometimes not taking a trade is better than taking an uncertain trade. Your logic to buy lower is absolutely sensible since you have a tight stop loss which can't damage your account. On the flip side, we are in a bearish environment at the moment, try catch some sell after 50 - 100 pips bounce with your stop loss in place. I'm just suggesting. Good luck.

Apparently price not following standard pa, just tanking as fast as possible and at minimal correction or not at all . Anyway this last leg down CAN limit to 3349 before correction up, ok with last leg down though!bjust correct near 3432 and or 3524 near be ok if for next tanking !

...as mentioned y/day. a break below y/day's 3359 lo will send price deeper into the dly part of the prev 4hr/dly sw hi zone = porev res = pot rbs, from Dec last year. It is shown on chart below and likely extends to circa 3325. Could still see demand emerge deeper into it.

The blue ascending t/line below current price joins 1410 with 3174, and on today's dly candle comes thru circa 3285 area.

@Navin, @Robinhood, @MrBurger I'm glad we are using this word 'Baba'. I actually called my late dad baba as a sign of respect to him then too, it makes me so emotional as he contributed a lot to my trading. Good luck to us all.

actually, Baba is also used in my house..as a sign of respect..seems the word is used across the world. The people will lose in the physical sense are with us more in the spiritual..they remain with us forever

A follow up to post and post was requested.

Before a larger TF changes direction, every smaller TF changes direction at least once. The further the TF from the largest one, the more direction changes on that TF. This is the cycling of the smaller TFs inside of larger TFs that will appear on larger TFs as stalling/consolidation or, if the swings are small enough, not even register on a higher TF.

The image on the left was posted December 11. The image on the right is the follow up as on January 27.

...meantime, on the dly there is a good bullish hidden div pattern (probably valid so long as price above 3174,) but there is not a next higher t/f (wkly) uptrend to enter after such a pullback. This said there is a 'general' expanding triangle pattern on that t/f which may be signalling a trend change? Food for thought.

Exp tri marked by points 1,2,3,4 and wherever 5 may come - ie at the current wkly lo or lower.

I reviewed eu and see there was a mistake of the starting point ,
since a trend line should be anchored to important strong price points with no carving of pa ,I hadn't noticed the that level has so many points with the tweezer

... I wonder whether fomc had sight of the U.s gdp # before they announced the end of their effective Qe earlier this week? Good # and showing the U.s economy growing well. They have a problem with labor force numbers - ie people dropping out of the labor market to take up vacancies which may slow things down, but the recent inflation-fueled pivot to a more hawkish fed stance(relatively speaking) will likely see some rate rises too. Uk too likely to see good but less spectacular growth and continued pressure re inflation resulting in more rate rises to come. In uk, govt has adopted a de-facto 'herd immunity' policy re covid in all but name and the only metric that matters now is hospitalizations. it seems we can live with 100,000+ infections / day and circa 150+ deaths/day now! Omicron has peaked apparently.

Present / upcoming fundie themes at play;

1. Russia/Ukraine thing
2. Inflation, policy responses, and growth, both in Uk and U.s
