Back in the days that pattern you have there is a good base for a buy. These days patterns are violated like it's nothing. I have been itching to buy GU. I don't know if it's the right thing. But GU didn't even touch the daily pivot at 3616 and it dumped. I just got in a buy at 3563. Even a spike to 3600 is welcome.

Hmm... I see this thing going high up today. It is a wonder how EU keeps standing tall and GU falls like a pack of cards! All this is about EURGBP. For price to move up they take EU up or make it stable while they dump GU. What a game!

I am glad I am on the same boat.
My target is 0,8400 or even 0,8500. It takes time of course ... but I can wait.

Well, if EG goes up it is logical to assume that Eu should go up. Gu could go up too, but not as quick as Eu. Just means that the Euro is stronger than the Pound. In this case, Gu could go into a ranging period and be just as boring as we have seen with Eu in recent months.
My logical assumption then would be that the dollar would depreciate in this quarter sending both the euro and the pound up at but at different speeds.
If the Euro strengthens and the dollar goes into ranging. In other words, staying neutral could send Gu down seeing that the pound would be the weakest and sending Eu and Eg up which is my assumption at this point.
Never easy, is it and the answer will only become clear as time goes by.
Cheers.

Hi WG,
I am afraid EG is still in downtrend, not sure about it, but look at GBPCHF - uptrend and now at 50% retracement
