Okay, sorry, so just to be more specific: I trade more than 1 contract. So when my first limit is hit, I bring the stop loss left to break even. So when 79.43 was hit, I brought the 2nd to break even. My next limit was 79.23. It hit it a few minutes later. Also once it is close to the 2nd limit, if the market meets a certain criteria, I tighten my stop.

This seems like a very active thread, so my first post will be here.

I've been lurking Forexfactory for years, and I mean yeaaaaars... Never took FX-trading serious but took some trades back in the day (currencies), trading crypto's back in 2016/17 brought me to here. But while I was busy with my personal life I've never stopped looking at charts (mostly on a daily basis). I always took fictitious trades to see if my chart readings were right. And by chart reading I'm mostly looking at support & resistance zones and based on that I take a position, If the pair is ranging then I adjust my parameters and use a bigger lot for a quick scalp. But to share my trading philisophy here I'll need to paraphrase alot, so I'll keep it at that.

But to make a long story short: I took action and decided to start trading. So this is my first trading week, I'm up 5% for to moment. I have a feeling that I'm lucky and it could end at the very moment. Do any of you guys have those thoughts? That you can't believe that based on your rational thinking you actually made profit and it's not just share luck? I'm very sceptical at the moment. Every trade that I close with a profit I'm thinking that it could've had ended badly. It's more of a mental proces I guess.

I don't have anyone on a personal level neither online whom I can ask questions or seek for advice. It's hard for me to grasp that there are actually CFD traders who are making a living out of this, these guru's I see everything are feeding my thoughts and it seems al fake, yet I'm currently making money based on my trading thesis. The funny thing is that I actually believe that it's possible but at the same time I'm sceptical about every aspect when it comes to trading. I have to see to believe. If that makes sense?

It's probably not the right thread to post this but I had to give it a try to get some replies from experienced trades.

I look for entries & TPs where I believe most "retail traders" got stopped out (e.g obvious "support/resistance" aka equal lows/highs or session liquidity grab) and upon retest of that area where they had to manipulate the price in certain way, but only if price is showing willingness to go lower/higher - how?. Assuming the BOS-es after liquidity grab were impulsive & retest is somewhat compression zone back to OB/BB + FVG area.

Simplified version:
1. Watch confluences of Round number, Fibonacci numbers, session open, observe divergence of rsi (optional).
2. Wait of liquidity grab and BOS (break of structure).
3. Retest of OB (order block) is our entry.

Welcome mate!
What you describe is familiar to me (and many have gone through it), this is a problem of psychology.
Work with it, get more experience in trading, develop your system and over time, everything will come.
Get inspired by good examples, it helps. Communicate with decent and open people, there are many of them at FF.
