Aside from continuing to have the repainting issue, HL.mq4 is also inaccurate. Some of the labels are incorrect. The screenshot below has yellow arrows pointing towards incorrect labels. Fortunately, the original zulufx_HHLHLLHL.ex4 works properly - labels are correct. {image}

This is most likely due to fractals. The algorithm is not built on a zigzag. Closed code. It is difficult to say what data the author of the indicator used.

bumping this.. I'm looking for MT5 version which is not based on Zigzag but purely on structures. Does anyone have it or can code one? I'm happy to pay a reasonable fee.

I dont have the mq4 for that indicator, however this one might do what you want:

Firstly, you cannot start a thread until you have some # of posts - can't recall how many.

The indi is one of the TMA family, there are many of them in the FF forum, that one is likely an MLaden variant. Best idea is to collect all the TMA's you can find and try them all until you find something that suits. Most TMA indi's repaint but there are a few which don't. Some are based on LWMA's and those do NOT repaint. Just search around.

I think its originally from professional trader Mostafa Belkhayate, and about i think 10 years ago, there was "Oans" thread dedicated to this indi, do some googling. Just to let you know, this indicator is repainting, so if u look back everything "seems perfect". My piece of advice, get rid of all that clutter, ur not doing yourself a favour in my humble opinion, learn to read chart "naked". Best of luck!

You found anyone to fix this problem?
Try these. And if you want hh, ll , ll, lh system, try any XARD system. It is a simple trend following system. Xard triangles are entry by lh or hl, after the correct extremums, and after the correct confirmation. Any 123 triangle is entry by lh hl.

Thank you so much! Exactly what I was looking for for MT4. TradingView has it freely available, but I couldn't find it for MT4 anywhere.
