add indicator to an Indicator

Hello everyone

I am new to Vt trader and Im wondering whether you can add an indicator to another indicator

For eg: Add Bollinger bands to RSI ? etc

If it is possible, How do I do that ?

Hi Varunk666 , Yes you can . For example if you right click and go into Add Indicators then scroll down to say RSI and add it you get a panel at the bottom of your chart with this indicator plot. If you then do the same thing for say Bollinger bands BUT this time where it says Price >> Close hit the drop down box and you will see a list which includes Indicators mid way down then click this and it will put the chosen indicator on the indicator not the price chart.

It dint work that way but if you click on the indicator, make sure it is highlighted and then right click.. You can add indicator to an indicator.

how can some one know how to trade and when to trade when d reports of or when the actual is out with forcast

With some indicators you can, with other you cannot.

Indicators with which you can will have the "first indicator's data" on the apply to field.
