Yes price did close above 1.3330 and has given the bulls upper hand but not so fast. The closure above 1.3330 only neutralizes 1.3080 in the immediate term which doesn't necessarily invalidate 1.3080... I see resistance at 1.3375/1.3400 in the immediate term, hence a sell has been added from 1.3370 for a target of 1.3200.

G/M, strongly bullish day y/day with shallow pullback off y/day's hi and a small upside follow thru today so far to a new hi @ a prev 4hr minor sw hi zone = prev res = pot sbr. 2 x fibs of longer-term swing down moves @/around today's current hi with next two @ 3419, then 3431. Price is still in the prev minor wkly sw lo zone = prev res = pot sbr that began @ 3353 and extends up to circa 3400, with Dly R1 3395 and Mthly Pivot circa 3398 in there too.

I dont get it DXY and GU both moving upwards.

just checking my yearly candle , may a doji is forming . so may below 1.2674 next year possible . anyway more turmoils ahead !

£Gbp only makes up a part of the DXY mix -vs- $. There is therefore not always a positive inverse correlation at all times.

This move is only seen as correction, which in the short term can be limited to 1.34 area. Minimum December range is 250 pips and so far, this current December Range is 227 pips which means 23 more pips to attain minimum which means 1.3410 cannot be ruled out which means the bears have very little to worry about.

Secondly, this year pivot is around 1.29 and 90% of the times price reaches the pivot, if it fails to reach the pivot that same year, it means the following year such unreached pivot must be attained.

For Swing Sell a target of 1.2900 is realistic while stop must accommodate 1.3550. The duration will be within 9 weeks. Price trades at 1.3380 as at time of typing.
