Actually, broker firms are generally advising technical analysis and they offer gann lines, elliot waves as indicators. They also hire technical analysts who draw these lines and offer signals.

Now i think you may be working for brokerage firms

of course. brokers are not your friends haha.like begginers think. im 16 years in forex and i find out that forex is pure lottery dirty big boys game.
no exist knowledge or book to teach constant making profit. this is all speculation game with final goal of wolfs to kill as much is possible ships (us-retailers). thats the reality.and nothing else.cheers

The trickery is much sofisticated my freind. You have a bunch of members pretending they are making money which encourages. Then, if you loose you did not understand TA, go back to basics please. It does not work anyway. The fundamantal issue is another way of pretending to win, it must be quite a new approach which i cannot describe yet. The moment Juan said he is quitting , a bunch of members says you don´t understand the market, keep trying. Nordling´response was very honest i must admit. "Not everyone is made for trading" more or less. And as soon as i provide a tool, none of these guys like it. Sorry but to use it you must understand it, if someone has a go and does not understand it he will not ues it. What happens if he understands it and it works? the bunch of guys don´t like it right. So Gann went broke, is this wichtcraft, this complicates the problem and so on

Yes. So in order to help him or him helping himself, he has to be able to describe what he has observed to be a feasible approach as gut feeling. Anything developed surrounding that would be very fitting his trading style and personality.

Just stuffing him with more indicators without knowing his needs is definitely the worst help to be given (by that demo trader woof woof)

But to response to your point, we all start to do something like a retarded to the experts. The first driving lesson seems idiotic because the instructor breaks down all steps into single tasks, so we can later do them altogether without thinking but still knowing what we are doing. Same for other things like standing up and walking for babies.

But I think a working strategy for entry is the first step. The other key steps would be risk management and execution which is something not to be given out easily.

No, Gann strategy does not work in trading, never have, never did, never will. It is just a book written to make money on the book. You can't be successful in trading with Gann. Does not work.
