Your facts are wrong period. I was born in 1985 and been through a lot through my life, but made it and I am doing very well. If you feel or are weak well speak for yourself, do not speak for the others. As I do agree, that older generations had a tougher life, it does not make them better or stronger. You are what you are, and you are how you're raised in your own house or environment. That is what matters the most, it does not matter if it is capitalism, communism or democracy, whatever. If someone can code it does put them in a certain higher IQ so it does make them smart. It does not make them smarter then others, but if you can code, it puts you in a certain higher IQ category. Watch this video from Jordan Peterson he explains it how does that work and matching it with what work suits people with IQ's. Technologies are high leve because people made it like that, so they are smart and they made it high level, because of those smart educated people. Years back before I started trading full time, I was doing machine building jobs, welding, machining, PLC programming and so on, and I am good at those jobs. I use to work with and train all kinds of people, and sometimes I had people trying so hard but they are just not hands on people for that particular job. Especially the field where I worked, we were building custom made machines. So you have to know how to measure, know math, physics, welding, machining, PLC programming, and so on. Me personally I do not know if I would be good at programming software in IT, but I can tell you that I would put all my time and effort into trying to learn it if I went to college in that field. But I picked a different field so I went into Manufacturing engineering technician college and got that diploma. So for you to say that generation born after 1980 are weak you are very wrong about that. I was born in 1985 I did very well for myself, and I know many and I mean many people my generation that did and are still doing very well. So in order to debate about this topic that you mentioned, you would have to go and research a lot before making that conclusion. Every older generation thinks that next generation are weak and this and that, but it is not true. We all have strenghts and weaknesess.

As generations progress, the newer generation is smarter and sharper in EVERYTHING. The older generation laid the framework. Just keep watching. Watch what is being made. The metaverse is one thing those older generation never dreamed of. And it is going to change the face of the world as we know it.

Those idiots in NY keep acting stupid. They never move price until days when everybody is stacked the opposite side of their move. Price will normally hit 3280, but they are just wasting everybody's time. I have buys that need to TP at 3280 and today is wasted without it hitting the TP. I am a day trader and need to start everyday fresh.

London consistently bought Monday and Today Tuesday. However NY that started the buys on Friday are just sending it down since yesterday. It doesn't agree with logic. They can keep fooling everybody but me. I am waiting for that 3280.

I think you have a great post and I love all the time and thought that you put into your post.

While I dare not speak for the original poster what I got from their post was that generations born BEFORE the big tech innovation were able to piece things together because there just weren't that many options. When I was reading that post I thought back to the movie Apollo 13 where the engineers had to devise a system to scrub the air of CO2 with just duct tape, socks, filters, etc., Today we would throw up our hands and say, "sorry guys but you're gonna run outta air."

It was a different time and people were different - not better/not worse just different.

Here where I live there are plenty of building built in the 1950-1960's that hold up very well during Hurricaines when new construction doesn't make it. Does that mean that they built better back then? It was DIFFERENT.

This thread will survive if it has good information and good contributors. If not then it will join the numerous other threads on the wastepile

With tomorrow being the FOMC announcement I highly doubt Cable will make 3280 today.
...because you never know - until you do!

All longs closed. With a loss of 35 pips. Looking at the sentiment analysis most people are still buying. Maybe now I'm out the price can now rise but I cannot risk it. Tomorrow is FOMC and every reason to move price anyhow.

Ah, some people are still talking behind my back. That's so rude and so miserable isn't it? If they are strong as i am, they should take the challenge and do better than me, so i can take them seriously. But if they can't, they should shut their mouth and mind their own business rather than talking behind my back. Focus on your weaknesses rather than finding mine.

BTW, beware of FOMC tomorrow guys. I expect a hawkish FED, but you can never know. It's better to trade with small lot size. I have closed all my positions for example.

I also expect a hawkish BoE and a hawkish ECB overall. But we have Omicron now, they can delay a hawkish decision/announcement until they clearly see the effects of the Omicron variant. Too many unknowns here, it's better to avoid trading or trading with the minimum lots.

LOL. I use lagging indicators and follow the leader when entering a trade. Then I typically exit with some small, fixed profit. On occasion, I continue to follow along until a clear retracement starts on a smaller TF. So I don't have things like "buys that need to TP at 3280" .

And if you include multiple TFs, then you can see how the smaller TFs are building the larger TF swings and understand better some of that logic that you seem to be missing.

Very slow this week, we need to have a break really. I didn't even realised Christmas day is next weekend. Time flies.
Officially I am on holiday from 23rd, can spend some time learning.

Pro Real time (available via IG) is very clever, might find away to add indicators.
I was playing around with the charts and nearly deleted all of my trades, phewww, i didn't.

Thanks a lot. I saw price at 3255 and that was the last. Went to church and came back about an hour and few mins ago. Usually a glance at the 1min to 15mins I would have seen the top forming and exited with profit. Actually, I made profit from the hedges which I released at 3210. So the loss of the buy wasn't really a loss. Let's see how they play it tomorrow.
