sub resistance is now 7171ish,
trend monthly is flat, weekly is flat daily is south 4hr is south all with 20sma below 200 sma question is did you trade a reversal or pull back
right now according to chart 4hr pa has pierced 100% fib retrace, ? which appears quite good resistance (minor 4hr) supported by weekly 200sma and daily 20sma,
so where you thinking of collecting your 30-40pips long or short?

i know you are an experience trader judging by your style of trading and so i need your insight on position management.

how do you manage positions when price turn against your positions because i know sometimes it can get bloody. do you use option for protection against major hit.

i am asking this cos i also trade in one direction without stop loss when there is clear trend and both direction when there is no clear trend which comes into play when price goes against my initial directional play above certain level i will start to cover the position to limit loss although i do come out good by the end of day but it do mes up my chart and it need constant monitoring and adjustment of positions on both-side and i'm thinking of using option to limit loss instead of covering the position on the same pair.

i hope you understand my points

last night price spike within 1.31600 and back to near 1.3200 again , today price need to above 1.3200 for little push to 1.3300 or else we can see more further drop

I think one has the right to love/hate the birthplace and/or its government and no one should tell other to do or not do.

if everyone was so in love with their country as a place, there would be no reason for anyone to move to other countries. Citizen’s hatred towards governments would be displayed as local activities only, btw.

FF’s moderation system is dated and unreliable as its member management is relied on senior members (red diamond). It is easy for newer members to be suspended by senior ones hating them. Suspension is an action by the members and release is done by the actual moderator.

If you have evidence write and present to the trader relation of FF and/or Fair Economy the company behind it. So far a few senior members abusing the moderation system have been stripped their privilege .

I think you have experienced that population statistics has little to do with individual performance and prediction.
Like cancer, occurs in ~18% of world population, but you either have it or not, 0% or 100%. Individual prediction (eg from genomic sequencing services) would reveal your probability far higher or lower than 18%.

I agree many will fail but involving traders of all years of experience. Personally I have to lose every trade in 9 month given current frequency to give back all profit so I think am pretty safe from the 95% line.

I don’t think we have an answer on which generation is the majority of profitable trader.

The demographics as of Fx traders is not really known and differ from sources, from even distribution across all age (see image) to ~1:3 with age 40 as midline. Definitely no evidence to correlate experience and profitability with age. But we do see people young and old kindly share their successful and unsuccessful stories with no clear skew in age. certainly not all profitable traders are in their late 90’s as I mentioned.

The survivorship bias works two-ways when interpreting a population statistics. Successful traders see 95% fail rate not a thing because they are 100% successful. A failed trader is 0% successful so the 95% fail rate becomes alarming, and they tends to believe others are also failed traders or invalidate actual result from profitable ones, choosing to believe their made-up miserable fantasies instead of actual matters.

the same go to other aspects of life. Most negativity without evidence is a reflection of self.

If you have facts to back that up great, I dont know if the majority are profitable or not, it would be hard not to be. The fact is the young generation only knows a bull market. When the outbreak of COVID hit globally, millions started loosing their job. As you know, people flocked to trading/tech. Stocks/Options/Crypto across multiple platforms people began to trade and make money. The market (DJI) is up roughly 100 % from the COVID lows. When the market corrects, their ass will get handed to them, or atleast the majority, I am sure there are some with the focus and skillset to succeed. These self taught traders are all over social media, giving out trading advice etc. It will be fascinating to see if this trend continues as this sort of thing has happened in the past, probably not to this scale but then the market corrects, lost fortunes, the complaints will come, excuse after excuse...
