Weird question: You know the Gamestop stock situation that occured when everyone on wallstbets decided to go against hedge funds.
Is this possible in the forex market? I personally think not possible due to institutions etc. what yall think?

Was just casually reading and wanted to say I'm sorry to hear you got a bad case of COVID, I know the feeling. Long COVID is especially arduous too. I wish you good health and continued recovery and stay safe, all of this isn't over yet.

Impossible, there is too much volume and liquidity. You'd be fighting against the central banks, the Fed etc. They rule the roost. Don't fight the Fed as the saying goes. The market cap of GameStop etc is a drop in the ocean compared to FX

i am sorry to hear this. wish you much strength and a good recovery!

a good friend of mine, 45 years old, in good health, fell into a coma a few days ago after her first pfizer vaccination. when she woke up, she only had 30% cardiac output, weak as an old woman and of course unable to work for ever.

another friend (55) is blind after the vaccination.

unfortunately, as always in life, there is also the other side of the coin;-)

Dont forget that at the end of the day, they are the liquidity providers taking the other side of your trade...if they want it! The other thing is that at least with the major currencies where the central banks have clout, they determine the monthly range they are happy to see their currency fluctuate. This is in retail terms a very large range. This is made clear to the large banks and LPš who then manipulate for their purposes the swings within the overall direction that central banks prefer. They then make interventions as and when required for extreme purposes at either end of the range
