Wow that was a drop, my long trade got taken out at BE. Maybe downtrend finished with this big drop, who knows as always. Oh well, opened once again already. Will see if this has legs or not.

Welcome along. Check out the news release which caused the big move. Go to the calendar page https://www.forexfactory.com/calendar - red news caused by Mr Powell's speech. Simple as that.

News release happened. Always check the expected news item of the day before you put on a trade. It's available on the "calendar" tab on this site. Best to be out of a trade before it's released cause it can go either way. You can them follow it's direction after the news is released.

why was this huge fall.well caused by a correction on another pair.
