generally just want to catch one wave 15-20 pips but depends on my reading of the market

move stops to breakeven usually around 6-8 pips and use vol to judge if re-entry is possible

If i have some good reason to hold longer generally take 50-80pc partial after first roadblock then hold

Just looking for very quick moves based on price action and horizontal levels, trying to remain free from bias and just following the liquidity and PA. My trading improved alot when purely responding to what price is saying in the here and now and not trying to make predictions

True but bigger time frames show overall direction price would want to go to. Where banks and institutions like to place their trades. I like higher probabilities.

I understand you.
but in a small time frame, trading is a completely different genre, the basics don't matter here.
There are scalper strategies that look for imbalances in the small time frame and enter a position when it develops.
the goal is always only 10-15 pips.
this is how it goes. imbalance- correction.
imbalance- correction.
and so on and so forth.

We are in a very rough zone now... If you look backwards you’ll see this area is full of levels and indecisions.
I just move stop to break even. I’ll hold the trade a little longer.

Slow markets today still managed to bag a nice gu sell.
Us holiday today don't expect much movements so i'm done for today. Good luck everyone.
