Hi TooSlow; Good question. Short response - Yes and No..... When I plann a trade I know how much money I am risking and making a "commitment' to lose that & walk away. I usually risk about 2% of my money in every trade. That is just part of money management. What do you do with the money that you do win? When the trade goes my way & I am in profit, I close 1.0 % of my trade & let it keep going until my trailing stop loss is hit and my broker closes my trade. That part of managing your trade is also managing how much money you are trading thus also a part of money management.

I hope all this makes sense. Kinda long I know. I'm not a total financial/trading wiz. I just do what I can to make some extra money. My charts are simple to read. I get blown away alot by seeing all the complexities & algorithims other traders use in these forums, but I am not an analyst. I tried & it didn't work for me...
