DislikedMy fundamental take: With bad CPI data from London and with China and N. Korea continuing testing advanced missile weapons, the near term future of the Pound looks dark. This renders the idea of rate hike as improper on one side while on the other side the complicated geopolitical situation will see increased demand for the us dollar. Just my thoughts. Not a trading advice.Ignored
Regarding the CPI data this morning I don't think that changes anything just yet. Inflation expectations are still well ahead of target, and some economist are anticipating as high as 5% early next year. So I think the BoE is still worried about rising prices despite today's lower than expected print.
Just my two cents, trade well!
