Re evaluated my analysis. There is a possibility of pricing hitting 1.3880 - 1.3900, but could be wrong. Will continue scalping shorts whenever opportunity arises. Be flexible and move with the market

Tomorrow UK CPI release at 7am London time. I think will be less than forecast this time, as previous was greater.

so they don't decide the cost of money when inflation is hot and rates are suppressed, tomorrows number will be hot imo

If rates were normal then they matter
I think they have to stop QE first like the US but I haven't read it ,seems to me as they stop QE rates will go up

Looks like there is no "inevitability" to price in Forex after all.

4050-4150 look like good target zones
Compulsions can be hard to resist

I agree with your opinon.
It just makes me very angry if we go ahead with the rate increase.
BOE has been criticised by many investors and politicians about a mistake they will be later reversing. Actually, Mr Bailey has not said he will raise the rates. He said he will act on inflation. All are rumours and betting to pocket early.
Seriously, will bank blindly disobey everyone? Not to sure about this...We have so many problems rising f.e. -
debts increasing, Brexit problems just starting, pandemic made most people worse off. Furlough scheme has helped some, but how many businesses made fraudulent claims? All went into the same unrealistic debt bucket. Now taxpayers, families, our kids will have to pay for the next 50 to 100 years.
Also what will happen with low interest loans given to businesses freely? Will they pay back at higher rate?
Haven't said that most countries have increased inflation, but delaying rate rising process, why not BOE? Why rush?

Confused with all this nonsense.

CPI will cover month of September.
Didn't feel any difference - limited spending in place. Prices increased prior this. Fuel high, but affordable, fuel cost increase will take effect in winter months.
