MFF are pretty explicit and transparent about the 5% daily DD rule and there's nothing sneaky about it. If you can't abide by something as generous as 5% when it comes to managing risk then trading for a fund is most certainly not for you.
Oh dear. You should be informed about that. It maybe just the beginning of the end.

I think there is a legit review in there, maybe two, not sure but likely its people who failed. There was a guy who made money on first day in the evaluation live, asked for a payout, then wrote a scam review..... pretty smart. He didnt even have the account more than 48 hours... Of course he was a FT guy..

-I would highly encourage you to take a look at their discord channel. You can see that payout proofs are posted by traders every single day (literally). They even have a channel dedicated for 5-figure payout proofs, which contradicts another claim by one of those trust pilot 'reviews'.

By checking out the discord, you can also see that there are no posts being made by people claiming that they are not getting paid. The reason for this, is because the person/people making such claims know that they would be immediately challenged on it.

The discord is full of active traders that can address any doubts that you may have.

I saw a fellow in a facebook group the other day asking whether or not MFF was a scam because he hadn't received his payout yet. It had been 3 days. The part that he failed to mention, was that he made the request during a holiday weekend. He ended up getting paid after the holiday was over. Go figure.

On sites like Trust Pilot and similar, random people can make any wild claims that they want while shaping the narrative entirely, all without any sort of burden of proof and with no one challenging them on their claims, whatsoever.

Better to practice good due diligence and common sense.

Yes. You get nothing if you fail at level 10 as you generate 5% (100% your own ac) per level and pass level 9!

Or you have to share 50% while you can keep 100% if you trade your owner.

I know a chap who works at Peak6. Its no joke, he was nearly cut loose as he was "in over his head" (his words). He muscled through it and has been there for the past 4 years. Had to learn VWAP and master DOM ladder.

Now it gets more interesting with real prop firms. On Futures and Forex you do not need capital because there is already enough leverage on a normal broker you get. But on stocks you need some leverage of course. So best would be with Bright trading, the former Goldman Sachs employee, or smarter.trading or fondexx.com for smaller account sizes at the beginning.

For stocks trading:

As with Propex (who I worked with) DOM trading is encouraged as you can become a market maker that way and the prop firm gets a rebate from the exchange for providing liquidity. The majority of orders in DOM centric funds HAS to be a limit otherwise they throw you to the dogs.

I suspect that the majority of people here don't know how to trade strictly with limits and 5-10 times a day and not hold overnight even on FX futures. Which would fit the profile of most futures firms. I was trading 5 yr and 10 yr treasuries and finding the 5-10 limits per day was painful, to the point you had to throw trades in or grid trades to get the volume in. It certainly wasn't easy, i made a little bit of money from it but nothing like I am making with the FX prop firms because the reactive type of trader I am doesn't fit in with spreading treasuries or stacking limits.

I gave up on it in the end as it was pay bills but the pain to get above that was becoming too much when a broker sales desk paid me 3x and I didn't have to kill myself for pennies. The guys who had lasted the distance had the product pick of the litter and earning your stripes was in the treasuries desk. If you lasted the 2 or 3 yrs you could ask them to change to another product but by the time you reach that point you are a hyper aggressive person who is either addicted to coffee or addicted to coke. There is no calmity in a futures firm.

That being said, legit as it gets.
