Some first hand experience with FTMO:

My current prop firm (EnFoid) is still under their endless jurisdiction change and MFF needs a couple more months to put cTrader in life so I ordered 200k FTMO challenge

Payment was credited almost instantly (within a minute) and confirmed on their pages, challenge account credentials received a few seconds afterwards. Absolutely flawless

I was lucky to meet the profit target within the first day (not taking any insane risk just a bit more aggressive on the Polkadot expected rise combined with a US30 Friday move). The online dashboard is a bit delayed (few minutes) so not a good idea to rely on what permitted loss it shows but that was expected and not a big deal

Now trading small lots to meet the 10 days objective. Will keep you posted about my experience with the next steps

Are there any real (remote) FX prop firms around (not talking about Maverick FX, because you pay a lot for their courses before you can start), where they want you to win (and not to fail and pay for tryouts from those fake FX prop firms, because they are most a kind of Ponzi scheme only and also have no license at all) ?

e. keep 20% of profits, maybe more once proven

So while you chase the "legitimate, real" prop firm, I'll opt for FTMO and MFF and continue making a VERY GOOD living.

Damn, Pip, you presented a very difficult choice here. Fools who are not grateful for FTMO and MFF, should just continue to be fools...Ok, back to ice cold IPA and a Football, lets see what Raiders can do with the new coach.

As long as my invoices for the profit share are timely paid, I couldn't care less.

You are absolutely right. Of course they are no real prop firms. Or are they ?
Having said that, for now they pay my bills. Keep on accusing them from profiting from other's failures.
After all, that's more satisfying than proving you can extract money from them/the market.

EDIT: @Qandy: just think of this prop thing as walking into a casino with $100-$1000).
You get your chips to play with at the roulette/poker table (or in this case, a demo/challenge account).
Maybe you win, maybe you lose. Statistically the house (the casino and the market) has the edge.

That's all.
Except for one thing, if you really have an edge and manage to beat the dealer, you should get paid.

There's nothing more to it.

Man bun guy with legs up on the table. Very professional. At least they went all out with the T-shirts, the table, and a white wall. Any chance a new prop firm will open up run by a couple of guys in their 50s wearing suits in a modern office? Maybe a few gray hairs. The chance I use these two bozos is somewhere in the neighborhood of -100%.

Looks like another cookie-cutter offering. Weekend holds allowed, but that makes me question their legitimacy because it is difficult for me to believe that any investor would be willing to put their money at risk like that.

It is always good to have more options, and I am super grateful for that. I just wish that more firms would think outside of the box and push the envelope in terms of providing better offerings so that the prop scene, as a whole, is forced to constantly improve in order to remain competitive.

Cue Banks is rumoured to "own" KOT4x, a shady broker registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Also, recommends this broker to all his $750 a course students, as he never fails to show profitable trades running into the $400 thousands, all made with this (his) broker, yet there are reviews on FPA calling them out for not honoring petty withdrawals. 1.6 rating by the way.

Jessica was using challenge fees to fly private jets, Cue banks probably has a few more Lamborghini purchases/leases in mind.

The worst thing about these instagramers is they have no shame but don't visit the nude beach (expose all). They have plenty to hide but no shame.....

Can't wait for when Daniel Savage can't pay and people maybe will finally stop believing his bull fucking shit. Just like his broker and his fund management scam.
