Hi Naviin.

I would like to some relevant point on the subject as why knowing what TF a trader trades before giving unbaised opinion.

Markets move in several time frames at the same time.
They move simultaneously, and sometimes in the opposite directions on 15-minute, hourly, daily, weekly and monthly charts.

The market may look like a buy in one timeframe but a sell in another.

Even indicator signals in different timeframes may contradict one another.
That’s why understnading one trader TF which he’s trading is important.
Thus the relevant question may arise….Which will you follow?

Most traders ignore the fact that markets move in different directions at the same time in different timeframes.

They pick one timeframe, such as daily or hourly, and look for trades there.

That's when trends from other timeframes sneak up on them and wreak havoc with their plans.
Those conflicts between signals in different timeframes of the same market are one of the great puzzles in market analysis.

What looks like a trend on a daily chart may show up as a blip on a flat weekly chart.
What looks like a flat trading range on a daily chart shows rich uptrends and downtrends on an hourly chart, and so on.

When professionals are in doubt, they look at the big picture, while amateurs tend to focus on the short-term charts.
Taking a longer view works better and is a lot less nerve-wracking.
I think what Navin is asking is fair and justifiable to able to assist questioner for a better guides and trade ideas.

I agree with you, I consider smaller time frames to be very dangerous. especially in the event of an unexpected eruption, a lot can be lost.
i trade in h1, that's right for me.

Excellent - TIME. I have some theories about this. Time or price important? As BWilliam says overvaluation and undervaluation, I had also some ideas before reading BWilliam. Just now backtesting time trading EA Should be reason for every swing? Don't you think?

The one hour looks like a bull flag, there is consolidation, u sold the previously weekly high

it doesnt work that way

the time frame u choose determines how long you want u position to run or what type of trader you want to be .


intraday 15min -1hr
weekly position 1hr
monthly 4hrs- daily
3 months -weekly

how long you want to hold ur position and what is ur analysis based on.

time frame of trader is like hours u spend at work depend on ur country.

Regarding this pepy dude..I think this person is very young and the whole zero sum game has gone to the head, let's face it forex factory trader are not even a bleep in the amount of money that this forex sea exchanges or any basis.
