Yeah this is a tough confession man. Hat off for that.
Now you kind of invite me to open an old discussion about using SL contra using Buy/Sell Stops which is basically hedging.
This is a perfect opportunity to mention again this concept under the context of fighting the fear of losing a trade and hopefully people will pay attention to it.

To make the long story short, I will just say that the day I invented this concept for myself, I said goodby to my fear of losing a traded. To anyone who is interested, please read my previous discussions about using Buy/Sell Stops instead of SL and how to solve hedges always in profit.
I hope everything makes sense.

You've put up the case in previous post. I do read those seriously and trying my best to adhere to the concept.
Sometimes, trader (especially me) need more time to implement and to digest lesson given by experienced trader.

At times, I often asked when do I take my profit? - I simply say, “Go with the trend! – Let the profits run, and cut the losses short”

But what do most of the time I do?
I SNATCH PROFITS and let the losses run!
Too many traders (especially me) want to lock in a quick profit to guarantee that they feel like a winner.

Need to have good psychology to handle this as well.
