Riding the dragon target 150.37 round about maybe a bit lower if they try to trap short on a break down , complete pattern is a triangle as is cable

Hi Guys,
Something I want to share. Perfect trading conditions today and no ping pong as some would suggest. The power of round numbers. Notice how we had a pullback back to 1.38000 and a consolidation period for most of the London session. We have had 5 consecutive 4hr candle closes below 1.38000. These are good indications that the market is building for a move down. New York once again put the final nail in the coffin with the follow-through.
1.37500 being tested as I am typing and 1.37261 could be on the cards today.

yes agree Leon, the market was basically basing ( consolidating around 1.38 now it should be super tough resistance

When you put so much effort and patience, then you have earned the right to reap the reward... Price did get to 1.3740 area and 140 pips in the Bank.

I know it's a few pips shy from 1.3820...
but the corrective trendline was broken...
and then a retest of the breakout...
I just had to sell (exited @ 1.3754, SL 25 pips/ TP 50 pips)

It does not always work that way , i think everyone was expecting the retest to be higher which in a lot of cases it is , very hard to know even with trend lines if the retest will be at the top SBR or back to the break down but well done if you traded it.

I agree with you and especially for this pair.
There's always a good chance it overshoots a little and cause a fakeout.
That's why I didn't get a very good price to sell either.
By the way you mentioned a good point there..."everyone was expecting the retest to be higher..."
That's why it didn't.
