Yes been a major struggle for me too. I now go in with heavier lots, tighter SL and tend to close most or all at first resistance. This suits my personality more I'll never be a swing trader. Try not to be fixated on making a specific amount of money just accept what the market gives you. If you have a strong reason to hold then bank most and leave a runner.

Problem can be it's hard to close if the market reverses on you once you've seen the higher amount of money, you feel entitled to it. Were in a fairly tight range today and there's no major reason for it to break out today. My aim is to be able to do average of 10 lots 20 pips a day by the end of the year, anyone should be able to live on that. Trying to get my stops down to 3 to 4 pips on average
