"All of this happened before you got a TDI signal." So what Jmn? Why is it important to know what happened before TDI gave the signal? That question should be self evident. I will not bother with details. What are the rules of this method. Trading H4 timeframe - Refresh chart every 4 houers. - TDI crossover with angle above/below 2/4. - Stoch confirm direction - Use post#647 to confirm crossover. - Place or don't place order, stand up and leave the computer/ Points 1, 2, 3 >great example of PA< will be noticed after it happened because you were...

" So what, big deal."

>>> The big deal is Post#7555 and Trading Mastery to be at the level of the OP Big E.

I started trading full lots last year... tiring of $1 a pip. Takes the same amount of work... why not get paid for it? Often shooting for $500-$1,000 PER EVENING.

iT'S NOT UNCOMMON TO FIND 3-6 TRADE SET UPS PER EVENING.

Sometimes I would set the TP to 20 pips. 3-6 pairs hitting 20 pips... a few losers maybe... made for a handsome profit.

If I put all of my eggs in one basket... it was hit or miss....

I trade both ways with success...

Simply following BigE's Trading Made Simple. Simple entry and exit rules

Considering the few elements instructed by BigE. Enough to made decision for the trade with high odds of winning.

1. TDI green red line
(#647 PA analysis)
2. Previous High/Low
3. Rejection at previous High/Low
4. Trend, long and short term

1. Cross
2. Lower highs
3. Rejection at lower high.
4. Down. TP below previous low.

For this I totally agree with you.

The way I practice TMS can be found in the following posts by BigE, No need to add any more craps like gambling EAs and indicators.

1. TDI is heart of the TMS 5-method --- #261, #2617
All trades I share here are signaled by TDI green cross /bounce red

2. I work with time frames and time of day that suits me --- #644, #1170, #4470
I usually trade during work hour because of my privilege at my job which I have a lot of free time. Sometimes at night because it is London/NY market time when volatility is high. I like Lower Time Frame because I prefer quick-in-quick-out.

3. I use simple PA analysis that everyone can learn --- #276, #647
I prefer leading ones which I can anticipate TMS TDI cross/bounce setups to catch the swing in early stage like BigE demonstrated in his charts

4. Aligning with the discussion of this thread during BigE's time, entries are the main focus --- #495
If I have other aspect of trading to share, I would go to other related threads. I hope readers in this thread can receive concise and relative information in respective thread for efficient learning

5. I apply the correct use of TDI Green & Red lines --- #11
#11 has clearly shown that BigE refreshed his chart before viewing the chart. Traders who want to learn and practice the TMS should 1) refresh the chart before analysis, or 2) use a non-repainting TDI Green Red indicator. I chose the later.

6. Absolutely no EA --- #802
Two reasons: 1) To respect the thread rule. 2) If you need to rely on EAs to help you become profitable, i) Your trading skill is so-so at this stage, and ii) you will never learn the discretionary analysis that can further improve your trading skills

7. Most importantly, I participate the forum with respect --- #486

Adding crap EAs does not help improve your trading. Set and forget SLTP you can maximise your odds and profit. Trust your analysis as a TMS trader

#1718
All this extra crap does nothing but confuse other traders and their success rate drops and they can't figure out why...

Everyone - Please stop adding anything... stick to the SIMPLE BASIC RULES.
That's what makes it work !

{quote} What your post indicate is that the trader sat behind the computer, Yes That is the beauty of TMS that seen as drawback for some traders wanting to be first - Spend less time thinking about trading and charting in exchange of being second to catch the swing. Higher odds of winning in exchange of slightly lower RR. Just my opinion Entry rule of TMS is TDI green cross/bounce red as trigger. With PA that put you in bias ahead of the signals, one can further filter out only the few valid signals (e.g. only Buy signal in Buy bias). Very handy...

Hi tommy, I agree with you about the simplicity of TMS. I was once a very heavy indicator user. I just found that they were getting me in late. I looked into the formulas to find out why, and realized that I was trading with second and sometimes third level information. Then I set out to learn and master PA. So for me, looking at two candles tells me everything I need to know. I do not need to think, and I have a chart set up that monitors the entire market.

If TDI traders are making money, that is very good in my view. My suspicion is that most of them are not.

Neither am I with you Jmn.

I don't see on the chart's that TDI is late. So far since 2015 has not one PA trader that is anit- TDI, managed to post a chart with PA applied to the first bar (right side) of chart.
At most charts are posted in hindsight.

"Then I set out to learn and master PA."
Does Post#647 come close to your tipe of PA?

"So for me, looking at two candles tells me everything I need to know."
No fight Jmn..... that is to thick a dollar to belief.

> Which direction will price go?
(Two bars as you have mentioned)
----
You think you only look at two bars, you are not. subconsciously your mind take the whole chart and tag those two bars as price will go up/go down/go nowhere
- are they at the bottom a extended down trend / top of a extend up trend.
- at the start of consolidation, , become part of consolidation, end of consolidation.

Once more Jmn, post a chart where you use any two bars at the right side of the chart and show readers how you apply PA before placing an order.

Your image will suffice Tekkies. If I see those two candles I will get short at the low of the bear candle plus the spread. Why? The bears pushed price lower on candle two. On candle one, the bulls rallied. If my limit order gets hit, then that tells me and everyone else that the bears are in control right now. That is good enough for a least a scalp.

So, no, my friend, you can put up any two bars in isolation and I can tell you what I am going to do next, and why.

our charts only show the technicals we use but we need to consider the fundamentals and the market sentiments.
I menioned Heatmap recently. Look it up and see if what your Big Picture is in agreement with.

UsdChf pick was base on all 3 and the market sentiments was the top most important.

To mitigate technical trading risks, "do not put all your eggs in one basket" Big E #7555

Therefore I traded dollar bulls AU, EU, GU and Uchf this week as my system strategy Group#1.
