Hi eelfranz,

I've been reading this thread avidly since you moved from the commercial section and realize that you like to keep things simple.

Heres a thought.

Why not just trade the HA candles on a higher time frame and when there is a change of colour just go long or short on next opening of candle?

Eamonn

Thanks for the Info's.

But what is then with this topic?
Ignored

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the "market base line". The '34' is, indeed, the setting for the volatility bands. These bands are not used with this method so most people delete them or 'black' them out. Also, a lot of people don't even use the market base line. All you really need for this method is the green and red lines.
Hej.

if i remember correctly one of the rules says that the candle body must close above the 5 ema some times that is the third candle ..

but i see people entering on the first red candle close even if it is not close above below the 5 ema...i'm i missing something..

I've spent the last 3 hrs reading new posts since I signed off yesterday...

I'm disappointed in a few of you and your actions. This is my thread and my method... traded the way I've laid it out.

I don't want to see any more posts that discuss other indicators... other ways... I'm here to help you to make money at no cost to you and I've invested thousands of hours doing just that.

I've already canned one trader last week and I don't look forward to doing that to any others.

Just show your support and respect that were discussing the 5 method... making trading simple.

If you want to share your other ways or indicators then PM the person that is interested. Don't post it on our thread...

We can start a Scalping Thread if you want.. I'll set it up for you... please understand...

Thanks

I took the same trade yesterday evening... Its not looking good so far, down 60 pips (thank god this is a demo acct I'm using lol). But I'm keeping it open to see if it rebounds or not... Besides, the TDI hasn't given an exit signal yet.

Hi Sam,

no you are not missing something. It just depends if you are a little more aggressive. If you are, then take the TDI crosses as they occur, hopefully on the first or second candle. If you do wait for the close over the 5, that's ok but you might miss pips. I suppose its all a matter of your own style and attitude to risk. That's how I see it.

I was only doing what you asked. So I will just continue trading the TDI very profitably as I have been doing for over two years now. Bye.

Guys.... My point is lets keep the thread clean... If you see a post for someone looking for something or a different way you trade it... no problem but please PM them alone... thanks...

Lets build this so we can help as many traders as possible because they all have money and time invested and they need to make money for their efforts.

Starting out you should be 60-65% successful. Within 1 to two months you should be 70-80% successful.. IF... you follow the simple rules and simple exits... 3-6 months... 85% successful. Don't complicate it... keep it simple. Buy your wheel barrow..

I never knownly take a draw back of 40-50 pips even on the 4hr. I generally exit at 10-15 pips to keep my profit and I'll re-enter when it turns back. If it happens when I'M SLEEPING... SO WHAT ... I never know about it... S/L at last HH or LL. It turns out in my favor most of the time. I lose about 2 trades out of 14-16 trades. I can live with that. I choose my trades carefully making sure they meet the entry rules spot on... and pass on the iffy ones and go hunt other charts.

Even people trading Silver with our method are winning big time.

It's simple and straight forward so let's keep it that way please. I want you to win big time..

I don't do the dailies but had a quick look for you. My candles don't finish the cycle unto another 45 mins but I thought UJ and GJ were the most interesting.

Here is a link to the TDI indicator. Install it in the indicators folder of the experts folder of your Metatrader folder. Then you'll find it in the custom indicators list, after you have shut the platform down and rebooted it.

I have spent a few hours try to get the TDI to show up on my platform to no avail. I even have TDI showing in my custom indicators menu and installed, uninstalled it and reinstalled.

What is it that I'm missing in the meta editor or anywhere aside from the mush in my brain right now?

Here is what I have so far....Am I missing any thing else? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I don't see anything for daily on the 6 pairs I follow.

I did take a long last night at the open of the new daily candle on th GBP/JY

I have been in draw down since I pulled the trigger. I was down as much as about 150 pips today. The green line has hooked back down bad on me.

Looking at the H1 now I am hopeful it was just a pullback in a continued uptrend.

Big E had posted last night that he saw the trade setting up after I was already in it.

I am on a demo account and still don't have the fortitude to trade dailys. I passed on a great short on the H1 because I was already long on the daily.

Look at the chart I guess maybe I should have bailed already with that wicked hook on the TDI. LOL
