Hi Everyone,

Dont you believe that the trading has been extremely difficult these days (particularly EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD), I have been trading since 2008, I know there is an evolution in the trading pattern and strategies over the years. I also know that what it was trading in 2010 may not be the same 2021/21. The post covid world is also taken into consideration. But I still believe regardless of what type of trader u r (day trader, scalping, swing trader), the kind of market that we are experiencing over the last 2 months(and the last 2/3 weeks in particular) are totally unknown/unfamiliar to us.

Do you agree??

Note- If you know any other pair which is easy to trade, then please tell, I will try to school myself with that pair.

if we trade only on daily charts, even a beginner will have no issues locating trends

simple reason 20 daily bars = one month

and month to month economic events can be tracked very easily, just need to keep track of inflation, interest rate and jobs

Isn't there a saying in trading 'no edge lasts forever'? Meaning that whatever strategy you have for making money will eventually become known to the masses and be exploited and arbitraged away until it ceases to work. It's said to survive as a trader you need to keep constantly trying to improve and move forward and that staying static isn't really an option. Oddly I found the last couple of weeks easier than the summer but I'm a relative newcomer maybe I've adapted. I will say I think it takes about a year of dedicated full time work to find a degree of consistency in these markets if you're new, someone who understands trading psychology, finds a good teacher etc but new to GU might be able to fast track that to a few months. Is it possible to make a living though, yes absolutely. I noticed it's the extended stop runs that seem to confound people sometimes on here although plenty have figured out how to just go with it

mate gu has been trading east for 8 months now between 142ish to 1 36ish if you had been respecting that range you should have been doing fine, until it breaks out of that range then we should have either monthly weekly trend continuation north or trend reversal south

If look big H4 and daily channels GU didnt touch upper channel,it can go any direction1.37-1.38,but it should touch 1.42500,1.40 h4.Any direction,and only after it big drop possible.

my target is percentage of capital based. 1 %.

However, technical point of view, the price should climb to 3860 minimum. Above 3805.

I don't really see a setup currently

1.3850 was my optimal sell but not still in unfortunately

we're on weak m30 demand currently but wont buy into this for the sake of it. If Euro decides to respect 1.18 we might see another pullback but short bias remains to 1.37

Hello guys, we are getting to the business end of September and lots of movement is expected.

In this last 10 trade days of September, we will see 1.3540 or 1.4086.

A break of 1.3720 will make 1.3540 imminent;
A break of 1.3920 will make 1.4086 imminent.

Structural Scenarios and Bias:
1.3540 has 70% chance
1.4086 has 30% chance

Be guided and trade with utmost caution.
