Imo, good bearish close, almost all the volume (92.5%) in the shadow. Below Friday's low --> 1.378, sell-scalping only for me{image}
Ignored
Watching 1.378 - 1.376 for scalp buys today. Looks like 1.389 will wait

Fundamentally, there are two scenarios to keep in mind for the coming weeks.
1) US will vote to raise its debt limit.
2) US will NOT VOTE to raise its debt limit.

If scenario 2 happens, there are 2 dates to watch out for:
Sept 30 - US gov't will shut down
Oct 15 - US will default on its debt

Good luck and do your analyses based on this info.

Am waiting for a pullback to the 1.3828 area to sell again.
Today's trend should be able to go well over 70 pips.

Looking at the US debt situation, came out with something to ponder.

Here's my take ;-
After having just raised the debt limit, they are already seeing the need for another soon, or the US will default.
US = bankrupt, printing money to keep afloat.
Printing money can devalue money, but it still exists and money gets taken out of the system as well.

It would be unthinkable that Congress wouldn’t raise the debt limit.
The US would effectively default on its debt.
The US cannot default on its debt.
That’s a meaningless statement.
US Govt, go thru this ritual so congress can cut spending it already wanted to to raise the arbitrary limit they were gonna raise anyway
And this Congress will absolutely vote to raise the limit.

According to IMF warns that US debt burden is unsustainable in long term. So we know where this is heading....

Why not auction the asset US military left in Afganistan, I want to buy the Humvee and few Black Hawk helicopter

Lastly ;
US already freeze Afgan US9.5 billion. Use that as offset to the asset left in Afgan.

Yellen know this ,
Democrats control the debt limit.
And the debt.
It can be done with the reconciliation process but Democrats want to pretend it's republicans.

Raise the debt to help their friends, I hope i can become friend too...

dont be greedy,

i took a short from 13880 last week and closed it very early for 25pips
why did i closed it early
plan your trade and trade your plan, my mission is to risk 1 for 1 reward because i am 99% sure 25pips will be made in any direction.

there will always be another opportunity to reenter, feeling like the market has left you is not always the best.

I agree that the US may raise the debt limit but this time it is different.
Rapidly rising inflation is directly impacting ordinary Americans. A vote to raise the debt and also approve the $3.5 TRILLION "infrastructure bill" is a death sentence for their political careers (unless they rig the mid terms again). They know that and the people are really angry this time.
We'll wait and see.....
