The DOLLAR has started its move higher, it took some time to gather momentum but it's on its way for sure. Turning higher against the CHF, CAD and YEN, so why will GBP, EUR and AUD not go down??
I don't want to brag, but I call the drop in the DOW and DAX futures 3 in a row correctly, early in the day futures ran high in positive area, but my indicators told me "wait for the US session" and bang! there it goes. On DAX 80p on 7th, 100+ on 8th and 100+ yesterday!!

Correction: It wasn't actually three in a row, I didn't make a call on 9th.

I agree on EU using W1 and D1. Though D1 somewhat confuses with the up flow. I would expect to wait and trade up till 1.2 and subsequent crash to 1.16

Hi MTF

Daily bais is not very easy to me, why?

even i know where price will go next it wont immediately go there, but makes 3-4 days small body candles and on day 5 it moves similarly in next week only two days will give good move rest three only ranging or small bodies only break previous day with small range.

so in these small daily candle days, there are mainly four session's (not considering frankfurt)
- asian, london, newyork and london close and in all these session price moves in opposite directions to take out both the sides.

Due to which in ranging days one gets so irritated with against moves, and totally forget the order flow and even miss the main moves at times.

Big funds/position/swing trader, having bigger pockets, can hold for a draw down attached to their bias based on fundamentals and COT, since they have bigger pockets retailers may not be able to hold a draw down trades specifically myself. and for that a retailer has to be excellent in his position size and best at scalping intra day.

hope others will share how they make their daily bias considering different sessions

Doing something similar with Implied Volatility on daily basis, estimating accuracy by an eye...

Imo, good bearish close, almost all the volume (92.5%) in the shadow.
Below Friday's low --> 1.378, sell-scalping only for me

The accuracy of ones technique and implementation is more important than the size time frame being used. The larger the time frame the larger the risk. The biggest risk is the trader and his/ her approach.

I only trade the D1 bias when the D1 TF is "in control". When preparing for battle, the commander wants as much Intel from all areas as possible. Intel from the western front may very well be of critical importance today where heavy activity has been occurring , but if he gets no Intel from the eastern front the next day and relies on the western front Intel, then he risks being annihilated by a "surprise" from the east.

Why in the world do so many people adamantly refuse to get Intel from ALL of the TFs before making important decisions?

When you see small ranging bars on D1, why would you fix your attention there when it is OBVIOUS that if there is any worthwhile activity developing, it MUST be on smaller TFs.

Change comes from the bottom up. If price can't get out of a range on a small TF, isn't it obvious that no TF above it is going anywhere either?

not necessarily ...but I will say in order to cut the risk u have to be aggressive, so instead of following the movement u kinda getting in where u think there is a block..it requires experience and complete trust in your ability to forecast appropriately, so I can see why traders do not like trading this way.

Scalping on the other hand requires different skills..u need to be quick, not have a bias and not emotionally impaired..u gotta take a hit when wrong far quicker. I think it actually requires more skill
