Disliked{quote} So you link an article about something that would make EU stronger as an argument about it getting weaker? What am I missing here?Ignored
Meanwhile in the USA the inflation rate is 5-6% and affecting the economy (slowing slightly) and the FED doesn't want to stop stimulus,i.e., taper?
If the NFP comes in STRONG then it pressures the FED to stop buying bonds and TAPER TANTRUM!
Conversely, if the NFP comes in very weak it would hint at a major economic slowdown in the USA. Why? Tens of thousands will be evicted in September and the US has cut off extra unemployement benefits as well. This "could" result in massive slowdowns in the service industries.
Just food for thought.
Plus I'm expecting a 10% "correction" in the equity market and when that happens safe haven currencies benefit - JPY, CHF, USD
Either way I don't expect any movement until tomorrow and even then with a US Holiday weekend the effects may be minimal. Packing up myself to leave at noon tomorrow.
...because you never know - until you do!
