We'll see what happens, it is impossible to be a 100% winner in forex. Price can still pump the other way but I doubt.

So what's happening why do I think clear short today. I think we need to build a narrative of what was happening with price last week. Most of the week was spent in a 50 pip range, building liquidity on either side. We know that it is not as simple as just trading in the direction of the breakout. This will get you nowhere usually. As we saw price faked out and then went all the way to the other side of the range and cleared the liquidity there too. But then some highs on the 26th were left so to me it was clear these were going to be taken at some point for one last surprise to really confuse people. Usually I find anytime the Fed/J Powell speak the first move is to clear stops so these highs seemed like the obvious place to hunt for them. JP didn't really say anything consequential to shift the dollar IMO so it had manipulation written all over it. The fact we were just accumulating around this level all day made me comfortable just holding and waiting it out. The weekly chart gives some clues too. We had been filling an imbalance and ended the week close to the important 1.3787 level (9th aug weekly low). Then on the daily we're in an area of supply which still hadn't been cleared. Cross referencing with the Euro we can see a similar story, where it reached for the last significant swing high at 1.1804 before hopefully continuing bearish. Just waiting to see if this is a trade I want to hold onto. tldr, the bias was always short just wait for the manipulation/FO to sell at a premium. Now, price can still shoot up and invalidate all of this.
